Forget those long, crimped skirts a la the early ’90s Goths; velvet has got its cool credentials back and is having a high fashion revival as the new ‘it’ fabric for fall. Velvet made multiple runway appearances this season as well as the streets. Velvet’s a pretty intense fabric, so use it judiciously.
